[Modesto, CA] – Steve Grillos Passes Away Hours After Vehicle Crash on I Street
Steve Grillos Dies in Tragic Car Accident on I Street
Saturday, February 13, 2021 – Steve Grillos, age 93, passed away on Tuesday morning around 11:30 A.M. Moreover, he passed away mere hours after a deadly car accident that occurred on I Street.
Also, the deadly wreck took place at the intersection with Sixth Street.
Initially, a white GMC truck traveling eastbound on I Street crashed in the intersection. Furthermore, he collided into a red Subaru SUV that was traveling northbound on Sixth Street.
Additionally, it is still unclear who had the right of way during the time of the accident. Still, police will continue to investigate until they find the answer.
Meanwhile, Mr. Grillos, the man who was driving the Subaru, as well as everyone else involved in the incident sustained either minor injuries or no injuries.
Allegedly, Mr. Grillos declined treatment at the scene thinking himself uninjured.
Unfortunately, about six hours later, Mr. Grillos suffered a medical emergency. As a result, he was transported to a nearby hospital where he passed away a short time later.
Likewise, officials are investigating to see if there is a link between the accident and Mr. Grillos’ demise.

A Head-on collision is when two vehicles hit each other with their front ends.

Additionally, the result is quite often deadly for at least one of the drivers.
Side Impact Collisions
A side impact collision happens when the front of a vehicle smashes into the side of another vehicle.
These types of collisions have the potential to have fatal outcomes.
Furthermore, a common term for this type of collision is called a “T-bone.”
Due to, the shape of the vehicles forming a letter T.
