[Solano County, CA] – Joseph Bertinoia Dies After Hit-and-Run Crash on Hartley Road
Joseph Bertinoia Killed in Vacaville Hit-and-Run Accident on Hartley Road
Wednesday, January 20, 2021 – Joseph Bertinoia, age 32, was killed last Friday at around 7:00 A.M. Moreover, the man died in a hit-and-run crash on Hartley Road and Robinson Road.
Initially, the Vacaville deadly accident took place just west of Interstate 505 and north of Midway Road.
Allegedly, Mr. Bertinoia was attempting to repair a mechanical problem on his disabled Volkswagen sedan when the accident occurred.
First, he got out of his vehicle. Then, an unknown vehicle traveling northbound on Hartley Road struck him.
Unfortunately, Mr. Bertinoia suffered from fatal injuries as a result of the accident.
Afterward, the car that struck the victim fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Furthermore, Google maps photos show that shoulder space on Hartley Road is limited to bike lanes.
Still, authorities are continuing to investigate the fatal accident.
