[Oxnard, CA] Motorcyclist Christopher Carnel Dies in Crash on Hueneme Road and Edison Drive
Christopher Carnel Killed in Oxnard Auto Accident
OXNARD, CA (October 5, 2020) – 57-year-old Christopher Carnel died Sunday afternoon. This was a result of a fiery motorcycle crash.
The accident occurred on Hueneme Road just outside Oxnard, Ca. Furthermore, the accident happened around 2:10 in the afternoon.
Chief Steve Reyes, of the Oxnard Fire Battalion, divulged that the motorcycle crashed into a fruit stand. This happened after the crash with the car.
As a result, the bike caught fire after crashing into the stand. Luckily, witnesses were able to contain the fire before firefighters arrived.
Meanwhile, first responders took the motorcycle driver to Ventura County Medical Center . Reportedly, he was in critical condition.
Additionally, one other individual suffered minor injuries at the scene. Nonetheless, their injuries were not bad enough to be taken to the hospital.
Pursuant to reports, the vehicle that had major front-end damage was a Nissan Versa.
There is an ongoing investigation being held by the CHP about the crash on Hueneme Road.
