Brandon Hicks Struck and Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on Highway 99 in Chico
Tuesday, January 26, 2021 – Brandon Hicks, age 49, was killed on Thursday evening at around 7:00 P.M. Moreover, the man from Chico lost his life in a hit-and-run crash on Highway 99.
Initially, the deadly accident happened just north of Meridian Road in Chico.
Allegedly, Mr. Hicks was walking along the east side of the roadway. Also, he was not visible to drivers.
Furthermore, it’s not yet known how he was in the path of the car that struck him.
Afterward, police blocked off Highway 99 for nearly four hours while they conducted their investigation.
