Anibal Macias Junior Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Alameda and 22nd Street
Monday, February 1, 2021 – Anibal Macias Jr., age 33, was killed early Tuesday morning at around 4:30 A.M. Moreover, he was killed in a pedestrian accident.
Initially, the accident happened at the intersection of Alameda and 22nd Street, near Washington Boulevard.
According to police reports, Anibal Macias Jr. was walking on the sidewalk. Then suddenly, a vehicle hit and dragged him into the street.
Sadly, the unfortunate pedestrian was declared dead on arrival.
In a statement from the police, “The hit-and-run driver did not stop and fled the scene, did not identify themselves, and did not render aid as required by law.”.
Furthermore, police are offering up a reward of up to $50,000 to anyone who can produce additional information that can lead to the suspect’s conviction or a civil resolution.
Additionally, police are urging anybody with information to contact Officer G. Diaz at 213-833-3713 or a watch commander at 213-486-3713.
